Whiteside Mountain

Whiteside Mountain is one of the oldest Mountains in this region and has the highest elevation of our area.  It has a great hiking trail to and around the top.  Once there you can see the surrounding area for miles (see the photos below).  The south face is a local nesting ground for Peregrine Falcons.  Several climbing groups use portions of the mountain's cliff faces for climbing and repelling.  The mountain is a national forestry park.
